About me

Beginning of my self-love journey
I am HANYIKA. I didn't always love myself. I barely felt much joy in my life.
🌟
I’m originally from the Czech Republic and came to the UK in 2004 with my then 6-years old daughter, two suitcases and money for 3 months. I left my job as a primary school teacher in order to improve my English abroad. My journey continued from my friend’s sofa to working as an au-pair to adult education settings working with asylum seekers and refugees. Due to improving my English and being bilingual I started working as an interpreter and advocate in the community. My personal development journey led me through many many (yes, I mean many) various workshops, courses, retreats and one-to-one therapy sessions. In November 2018 I came to Tara’s workshop in Brighton and got so inspired that I immediately signed up for the training. I didn’t plan to be a therapist, I was trying to save myself from my dark thoughts and self-judgment. During that training I also met an amazing lady who managed to heal her cancer - you can watch sharing her story here: https://youtu.be/1yMDPdZLxZ8
On my journey of self-love I was not only training with Tara and having therapy exchanges sessions with other trainees but I started using the “I love you, me” on myself too. Slowly but surely I eventually reduced or even stopped having “..but..” moments in opposition to anything positive anyone said to me and I started accepting and loving myself the way I was. Life started to be much more fun! In 2024 I decided to go through the training once again, this time with the intention to become a therapist. I felt so privileged to work with my case study people to see their 'aha' moments, their tears and laughter and revelations and healings. I loved hearing their feedback, their stories of coming to SELF-LOVE. This powerful Transformational Self Love Therapy is changing people’s lives and I feel privileged to work with clients and see the amazing result.
Embracing the journey to self-discovery.

{{ A fun fact: My original Czech surname Bláhová (spelled with accents) could be translated as naive and gullible and without accents it means blissful. I'm choosing BLISS in my life and therefore using the name as Hanyika Bliss. }}
